Critically-acclaimed South African rapper and brilliant lyricist ProVerb has just come through with a brand new firecracker to keep the ball rolling this year. The new jam is titled “Heaven”, and we’re super psyched about it for many reasons.
Since bursting out on the mainstream South African Hip-hop scene, ProVerb has continued to assert himself as one of Mzansi’s most gifted lyricists with numbers such as “Blessed and Highly Favoured”, “You Got Me”, “My Day Will Come” and a host of others to his credit.
Obviously still in tip-top shape, the uber-talented wordsmith cooks up “Heaven” a track on which he no doubt outdoes himself.
On “Heaven”, ProVerb raps about his idea of Heaven, a place of healing, forgiveness and perfection, when required he’s able to reconnect with some of the greatest people the world has ever known.
Some of the late legends ProVerb talks about meeting include Nelson and Winnie Mandela, Hugh Masekela, Stephen Hawkins, Paul Walker, Brenda Fassie, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs, Aaliyah, TK, Maya Angelou, Robin Williams and Mandoza.
Simply stream or download “Heaven” right here, right now, to get in on this spanking new masterpiece from ProVerb. Remember to let us know of you’re feeling this one as much as we are in the comments below.
